During the warmer months from June to October, it increases to daily watering. Each watering session follows a structured cycle: water for three minutes, pause for three minutes, then water for another three minutes, totaling nine minutes per session. This method allows the soil to absorb moisture gradually, reducing runoff and maximizing hydration for plant roots.

How does the V2 Lawn Mode work?

V2 Mode is designed to provide deep watering for lawns, promoting healthier grass growth. From March to May and November to February, watering occurs every three days, while in the hotter months from June to October, the schedule shifts to every two days. Each session includes a carefully timed sequence to allow better soil absorption: water for five minutes, pause for three minutes, repeat this cycle three more times, resulting in a total runtime of 29 minutes. The combination of watering and pauses prevents surface runoff and encourages deep root development, leading to a more drought-resistant lawn.

How difficult is the setup process?

Setting up the timer is straightforward and takes just a few minutes. Users first install the batteries and set the clock before performing a quick test. After that, they choose a start time, duration, and frequency for watering. Once settings are reviewed, the timer takes over, automatically regulating the watering schedule. What extra features does it include?

One of the key features is the rain delay function, which pauses watering for 24, 48, or 72 hours, ensuring that plants aren’t overwatered after rainfall.
